Can someone please tell me...

Can someone please tell me why some of these little ladies (hoping) have long stems, short stems and midgit stems? Is that normal? Now I'm talking about when they actually are up and out, from the base to the first set of leaves.

I have three that are all different, but growing FAST. Just curious.

Plants vary especially if they are just commercial bag seed. MAles will usually be spindlier and not to bushy but not always and it tale a while to tell.Is your light close enough and they are not stretching?

I'm not using bag seed though. Im using Auroa Indica and Papaya.

My lights are as low as they can go on the Aerogarden. Its about 5 inches above The tallest.

theres your issue.Your using an aero garden which isnt really any good for growing weed. Grows herbs and strawberries well though. The lights should be almost touching the tops of the leaves but he aero garden doesnt allow you to do what is needed so you will get stretching lanky plants and you will definatly need more light then what comes with the aerogarden. there must have been a run of smoked out new grower late at night watching that infomercial cuz for some reason alot of new grows saw that and thought it would work good for weed lol you in for a ton of issues from day 1 til the end

I don't like to argue, but it grows weed fantastically. The pro100 is much better than the original and I have been working with many who have huge success with it. It is NOT for people who want a lot of med, but ok for the small amounts and if you use the lower strain plants.

There definately will have to be added light to flower, no doubt, but I'm not really sure if lighting them hotter than the sun and pumping up the heat so high is the right way either.

It has been 4 days and they have leaves. I'd say the Aerogarden does pretty good and its me proof. =)
