Can someone tell me when I'm doing or what I did wrong?

Humidity around 70-85% temp 75* only sprayed the lid of the dome once in the last three days. (these are 3 days old) Can someone please tell me what's going on that is making them turn yellow like this? I already took a few out that were too far gone to seem repairable.

These are the ones I just took out because they were getting brown and I might have over reacted to one or two.


But the good news is, my plant I brought up from a seedling is doing very well!

those clones you got dont look like they were cut right. you dont get much luck with them rooting when all your cuts have just a couple water leaves and minimal new growth. just get another set of babies or cut off a more mature mother and try it again. practice makes perfect. good luck man.

Keep the pellets wet and be sure to spray. Clones have no roots so they can only intake water and nutrients through pores in the leaves and stem area.

if humidity is 70 and temp 75 and you only spraying once , you need to be spraying 2-3 maybe 4 times aday , shound root within 7 -10 days depending in rooting hormores

bro i was having the same problem years ago ... me i dont like using the peet its just to soggy and not very good for me .. i use roit rooter with clone x.. i learned from youtube . it shows you how to cut and scrape or clean it up .. they look not cut right to me .. and there just sucking up nuts to stay alive from the leafs thats why there yellow .... i would check out a youtube vid and do what they do .. once you get cloning down once you will do it every time and have great rooting every time ... member to give it right node space and make sure your cut is 45 angle . and MAKE sure your tool is CLEAN CLEAN that you cut with \

Thanks everyone, I'll probably end up taking a larger loss than normal with this "crop" but everyone's advice should help me next time. I kinda rushed into this one not knowing enough about cloning. I'll do better next time, promise

why has no one pointed out the obvious??? raise temp to 82-85 and get rid of those bottom leaves...

I thought that the plant is pulling resources from the bottom leaves. If he pulls the bottom leaves, won't that needlessly deprive the plant of access to a source of nutrients? Maybe that's the point with a clone? Pull the leaves so the plant is forced to push out roots. Not sure. That's why I'm asking.

no. they are pulling nutrients and trying to grow we want roots not leaves. leaves are only important when you have roots to feed them that's why they are yellowing, there is nothing to feed them. cut them off and less is needed to keep it healthy until roots push out more. the growing tip and the node below that are all that's needed the node below that gets striped off. if all goes well by the time that top starts to yellow roots are starting to push out, if you are really anal foliar feed with seaweed extract. hope that helps...
