I use aluminum sulfate as a ph down. Got it at my local garden supply center.

That shit dont work because it doesn't have pH stabilizers in it. Ive tried vinegar in the past with abysmal results.

If you're looking to buffer the PH of your soil, you add dolomite lime to the mix. 1-2 tbsp / gallon of soil mix.
