Room temp at 82, leaf surface temps get up to 86. I've got another round of vortex going, but not sure what to change in an attempt to get flat happy leaves. It does appear only on the buds closer to the light.curling like that would be from the heat and not the actual light itself.
Unless its a different issue altogether.
obviously if you have buds closer to the light you have differing leaf temps, not sure how you would even measure that (laser temp reading?)leaf surface temps get up to 86. hmmmmm
I use an infrared thermometer. 86 seemed ok considering I'm running co2. I can run the lights closer during early flowering without any ill effects, this up curling kicked in about day 30 or so. thanks for sharing your opinionobviously if you have buds closer to the light you have differing leaf temps, not sure how you would even measure that (laser temp reading?)
86 is pretty high anyways.
Light itself will NOT curl leaves, it WILL bleech them however.
true nuff'It could also be from very low humidity due to the temps.
It may be something else, but the distance from the bulb does have a direct influence on the degree of curling. Perhaps it is just the normal finishing response for vortex. I've cooled down my room and vented hoods a little more, 77 room temp and 81 max leaf temp. We'll see how the next batch do.You're not having a "light intensity" issue.
