Can this be cut for a clone?

General guide, that I read, is four nodes, but I have cloned that size with success.

Also, I noticed the stretch, what is the distance to your light? You may want to lower.
 
You should let grow more,but if you are just trimming under growth and got some extra cloning supplies I would try it. I have had personally grown little cutting like that to full size plants.:?
 
I've got a 600watt HPS in a space about 2' x 4'. It's my first cycle and I'm being super cautious with the light distance. The last thing I want is to burn them.

dont know experience?, haha guessing males before pre-sex is like gambling, but i seriously wouldnt make that call unless i had a feeling im not guaranteeing anything, but i was just mentioning it.:D i know it seems odd but i calls em how i sees em.:)(i dont see any definitive signs of sex either by the way, its just the way its growing. and shape of leaves and such.)
 
i feel it but your being overly cautions, if you can put you hand in the space the plant will reside then its fine, i know i can put my hand withing inches of my 400w bare bulb.(plants burn and touch my bulbs all the touch my bulbs all the tho.)
 
Is there any logic behind their growth patterns and their potential sex? Faster groth from male or female. More compact nodes from either? I have my whole group under the same conditions and have noticed some differences.
 
Yes you can no prob, if it can support itself it can grow. When properly rooted lights at back of hand method i use my face too see how it feels good guide pop a sqwat in there environment. Once I've seen a male of a strain grow def recognise traits. Lazy clone method in journal.

yeah there are difference. mostly dicrete and hard to tell. its just experence, but i could be wrong ive been wrong many times. and will be many times more.
 
use hand trick put hand on top of plant to hot for hand to hot for plant ajust light so it warm on hand but you could keep it there all day whith out it being to hot
