For one. Germinating inside a plastic bag isnt what i'd recommend. I'd get some aluminum foil, and a napkin or something similar, open the napkin and place the seed in the middle then use some type of sprayer or just lightly wet the napkin so that its totally wet but not dripping water everywhere, enclose the foil and put it in a dark area, leave the seed for a day, then open the foil and then the napkin if the seed hasnt cracked then just close the napkin and spray napkin with water, close foil and wait till the next day, repeat this process till you see the "tail" of the seed, but once you do. I dont recommend waiting since its ripe for growing and waiting any longer could have adverse effects.

put them in the soil your going to use. by the time you get back they should pop out of the soil. In fact i reccomend you just put them right in the soil whenever you grow or if you insist on germinating them and then putting them in the soil use the drop of hydrogen peroxide in a glass of water in a warm dark place.(but germinating first is really not needed at all, it doesnt make the seed pop out sooner. if anything a bit slower because you wait for it to germ and then have to wait for it to pop above the soil). Using methods that just make more work for you and more things can go wrong due to human interaction for a bit slower/the same at best germination and popping time isnt worth it.)

Do what darkdestruction says,
look at the seed,
theirs one side of the seed that will have a small 'o' shaped thingy,
very small.
Bury that side up.

Germinated way to many seeds in my life to be wrong.
And im not a liar lol.

Agree with darkdestruction on this one.

I have done various methods to germinating seeds and the one i now recommend to people is moist your medium coco rockwool etc plant your seed straight into it and cover it in a humidity dome and get it under some lights. No need to pre soak the seed no need to germ in towels etc. Just soak your medium plant your seed and leave it alone.

I have now done this on 2 seeds that i have germed in the last 2weeks and both have been successful.

However i would say follow frmrboi's advice about seed placement.
