re-read posts on costs, not kidding - you're welcome to see the books. 1 - anything sold by a company is going to cost more than doing it yourself - buy a carrot vs grow one. 2. the government has really stuck it to patients with the tax off the top. 3 - no landlords means many dispensaries will need to buy or build their own and recoup that expense as well.

ANYBODY can come visit and i'll be glad to share the books - dispensaries are not going to make a ton of money in this state - this is not cali or co

bill hayes wanted to challenge the constitutionality of the rule, something i believe would be a total waste of money. what judge is going to say the rule is violating someone's basic right to grow?: bill hayes was dreaming. not to be toooo repetitive, the only way to change the 25 mile rule is with another citizen's initiative. and i'm willing to help. why is this so hard?

Where was your testing done? Can you show me pictures of these so called 20% THC strains? Hell, can you even name them for me? I will come meet you when I am back in town and show you what Medical Cannabis is suppose to be. If you are going to rip patients off you better have the best damn medicine in town.

Just because it is sold by a company does not garner a reason for a outrageous price markup...
I have been at the table when a group of real cultivators laid out a plan to produce pounds at $1500 for a dispensary client that provides a facility....
Those are serious horticulturalist, who have done this in multiple states, those prices are already shitting on your operation.

I hope they get in touch with you and show you the light...

He has seen my meds before and his little puppet, Anton the Medicine man, offered me $3800 a pack. I told him that I would never sell him to him and let my meds be sold at retail. If patients wanted their meds they could come straight to me and get it at what I consider compassionate. I would like to show him my meds again...last year I didn't have near the genetics I have now. Just want to rub it in his face what he can have. And for that matter, NEVER GROW!

The sad thing is that people like me are pretty powerless to do much of anything...... I cant afford weed at that price, and my only alternative is morphine which is the worst thing on the planet....but is free.
Without the ability to either grow my own or get some REASONABLY priced herb form a fellow grower, ill be screwed..... back on morphine or back to buying regs...

FYI Mr Gaines, there are people/businesses in Arizona willing to grow you MEDICAL pounds at $1500+, that is the current price of three of your ounces.
Be as powerful as you think you are and do all the patients a favor by networking.

I do not know many REAL compassionate people gardeners who would get into business with you. ESP. knowing that you would still charge $500 an ounce for a product you could potentially be paying $1700 max after all expenses are accounted for.

Your supposedly a business man and CFCC business model suggest large volume production, No?
 
Welcome to America, land of free enterprise with a system set up to get the rich richer. Other states have dispensaries with medicine that is comparable and affordable and on par with what home growers are producing. Some patients will get medicated by their network of private growers and some patients feel safer and okay paying more and going to a fancy dispensary.

I can go to the local swap meet and buy a $5 t-shirt with a logo that was made in China, or I can go to a fancy dept. store and buy a t-shirt with a designer label, also made in China, for $50....it's all relative to the story line that goes with the shirt, and what you're willing to pay for it.

I'm new here, but have been lurking for over a year. I see some some good growers, some beginners, some players, prolly a few govt agents, but the bottom line is there is enough patients for everyone and people will still buy Mexican Swagg, they'll still buy junk from a beginner grower, they'll still buy awesome meds from the amazing dialed in grower and they'll still buy good, bad or awesome meds from co-ops or dispensaries.
 
I don't think anyone is buying any of this snake oils bullshit. Its all about the numbers there is no justification for ever charging 500 per ounce. This jackass does not answer all all he questions being asked and the ones which he does answer are bullshit. You don't want to change the 25 mile rule because that's what the law is. Are you fucking kidding me? Since when is maintaining the status quo a reason for inaction? Why did we make marijuana legal at all with your shithead manipulative reasoning? If we could change the law of the land to make medical marijuana legal then why can't we go one more step further and make it more access able to those which really need it? Your so full of shit and are a parasitic scumbag.

$1250 a month for a patient to get their 2.5 Oz??? I consider myself well-off, I am probably no Gerald Gaines by wealth standards but these costs make no logical sense. $1250 a month is more than most of the 30000 patients monthly mortgage/rent.
That is fucking CRAZY. So basically people need to possibly be late on some form of payment just to receive medicine that makes their day to day life the slightest bit more manageable. $500 an ounce even with the costs to run your facilities included is a killing and you know it.

I get it though, rape people in the MMJ program's infancy when there is little to no real competition and the market is sautrated with patients who are uneducated about medicine. Then when dispensaries come around the plan is the same but cost will be a little cheaper. His quarterly price breakdown never lists an ounce under $300, is that a JOKE? Are these prices based off the compassion clubs around town, where is the real market value/assessment.

Patients if you see Gerald Gaines make sure to help jump start his day with a swift kick to the groin area.
And for all the people blinded by a "free" place to grow, Wise the fuck up. You are the ones who promote this abhorrent practice.
