That has some sort of way to eliminate overusing soil.

For instance what size gallon pot should be used from start to finish according to how long you veg your plants.

1 week veg = 1 gallon pot start to finish
2 week veg = 2 gallon pot
3 week veg = 3 gallon pot

I bet you can get away with 2 gallon pots with a 3 week veg. Why waste soil?

What size pots and veg time do other people use?

That is tough because different plants require different space. I recommend checking out the AirPot journal done here as they seem to really use the whole space of the pot

you gotta pop it outta the container and check to see if the roots are visible on the outside of the soil. If the roots are everywhere it's time to change em. Or do what I did and just move to hydro and forget this repotting crap

I go with 1 gall per month ,

But is not a waste of soil , your roots will end up filling it all up anyway

But i use the pot up method anyway

I start with a little cup and let the roots get a good structure going on , then i transplant into a little bit bigger pot and till it get fills up

Then i transplant into final pot

But thats just how i do it , we all have our different methods we use
