Can you defoliate a stressed plant?

Hi guys. I have 4 plants in rdwc that are 21 days into flowering. 1 of the plants stretched a lot more than the others and is too close to my 1000w led light. It shows mild symptoms of stress (tacoing, leaves pointed up, some discoloration of upper leaves, etc). I turned down the 3 led bars covering the back where that one plant is located and kept the front bars at full power. The tent is too packed (first run with led and had no idea the huge difference it would make) and i want to defoliate but im concerned defoliating a stressed plant will turn it hermie. Is it possible to defoliate and bend the branches down again and put another scrog on it or should i just let it run its course as is. Thanks in advance for any help you could give me.

Defoliation has never hermied a plant in my gardens, slowed down a few, sped up others. But light leaks or a light on appliances inside tent while in dark cycle will cause hermie traits to be expressed. Only my opinion, but believe its true. Learn something on this site daily. Btw nice looking girls.

Not everything has to be done at once. Your immediate issue is the too tall plant. With that plant, deal with the height by supercropping. The other plants, defol now. When your supercrop is done and healing well (week or so) you can defol that plant too once its through the stress and recovering.

That would be a beautiful scrog canopy....
It is scrogged. Two tiers of scrog. Its just that its 4 different strains and some stretched more than others and theres just no room to bend shit over or find a place for the tops. The tent got too packed since i switched to led and just didnt know the difference it would make. Ive only used hps in the past
