Can you diagnose these plants???

Sometimes a few of my plants have this problem. After I plant my healthy rooted clones in perlite, which I'm top feeding via small tubes, a few get stunted, droopy, yellow, while most in the very same system do fine. These weak ones are still slowly growing, but pretty sorry compared to their healthy fast growing sisters, as seen in the comparison photo. Some of these weak ones get so bad that I pull them, while some fully recover and catch up. Never have this problem during flowering, or with mothers, just during early vegging before roots fill pots. My nutes are very typical GH flora's, 5.8pH. What am I missing here?

I think what you said is true,... the weak ones. Some plants are just more sensitive and delicate and more prone to shock, I'm not sure why, even with clones. See what happens if you use a B vitamin rich formula, something meant to ease transplant shock.

Ro or tab? If Ro start using cal mag. If tab, I would investigate possible nutrient uptake problems i.e. ph, tab water make up. I would not let so much light get to the top of the pots due to the algae development.
Good luck

I have to say from pictures I've been looking at on symptom guide threads my plants look most like overwater/oxygen deprivation. Though I'm surprised that would happen in perlite? and to only some of the plants? But it really looks like it...I think...anyone else?
