I read a thread some years ago on grasscity forum about drying under vacuum. general consensus was it's a bad idea, because under vacuum the trichs burst. That could all be BS, and it's above my pay grade. I'd suggest putting one bud in there, running it under vacuum then pulling the bud out and checking it under a loupe or a USB microscope (best fifteen bucks you'll ever spend) to see what the trichs look like

it may not be a bad thing they burst, might just make the surface more sticky looking

Except that volatile terpenes will volatilise, aka evaporate and be gone forever.
