Can you get browning/oranging of edges of leaves because of sun exposure?

Growing outdoors and just wondering if it could be the sun that is causing a slight browning/oranging of my leaves, just on around the edges, or is this some kind of nutrient deficiency? Ive heard that it could simply be the strength of the sun. Any info appreciated. thanks.
