Basically my question is in the title.
"Can you grow marijuana outdoors all year round in Florida? Specifically the West coast area."

I heard that you can with tomatoes, maybe I heard wrong, though?

Very hot in the summer, freeze in the winter, lots of bugs, very high humidity for flowering, there might be lots of sun but there are worse factors to deal with

We grow year round in Hawaii....
On the coast the coldest it will ever get at night is 59 degrees (on the coldest night of the year in Dec/Jan.) Your winter low temps might be an issue...

The technique is to use clones (as mentioned above)... Preferably Indica dominant as Sativas won't mature as well...
Get them started inside at 18/6 (Not 24/0 because the plants will go into flowering faster when you put them out)
Once the clones are rooted.... Veg them for a couple weeks under CFLs.. then put them out...

I noticed when I do 18/6 that the plants take about 2 weeks to stop vegging... When it has been 24/0 light, the plants don't tend to veg and set up for the flowering as well...

I've got Island OG (Abusive Og Kush x Black Domina) that I can harvest 2 months after cloning ..... where I get an average of 60 grams per plant during short season...

Find the right genetics and you will be set....
