Can you harvest parts of your plant?

Hey anyone that can help... I am a first time grower and my mature flowering plant is almost ready for harvest but I was jus wondering if the cola bud and buds near the top are ready b4 the lower ones are is it possible to harvest the top of the plant b4 the rest? or will that damage the lower buds too much?

Yep. I do this and so do others it's called a staggered harvest. If the tops are done and you want the rest to fill out go for it.

yeah, you can harvest the top buds first and let the popcorn buds finish maturing, it'll improve the lower buds, not damage them

been watching Jorge Cervantes - Ultimate Grow on youtube today he said you can take the buds that are READY early if you want.
