The pet store will have a reptile thermostat similar to ones use for seedling heat mats. You can plug any low amperage device right into it. You can also get a ceramic heater that is like a light bulb, just no light. I think the reptile department is going to be a good place to start.
You can use a single pole line voltage thermostat used for baseboard heaters. Or you can find a plug in thermostat at a hardware store, just hook your light up to it, set it for temperature and your off.
