Can you just plant straight into final pot?

For indoor soil, to avoid having to transplant. Any cons to this?

it'll be fine, it will be more difficult to get the watering right for the first couple of weeks.

Yes you can do this. The cons are monitoring an maintaining soil moisture. With roots occupying such a small portion of the pot potions of the soil will dry faster than others.

i've always transplanted and have heard that it is easy to drown them but will work. Just easy on the water for awhile.

You can yes, only con i know of is the soil in the bottom of the pot will not dry quickly, as theres no roots there when the palnt is tiny, this may make it difficult to judge when it need watering. It can be done, i have done it myself in the past and not noticed any problems. There may be other cons that i dont know of though. Peace

Yes, I do it all the time. From a red plastic drinking cup to a 3 or 4 gallon pot. Save the stress and time of continued repotting. All you need to do is just veg the plant for an extra week or so in the small red cup.

A larger gallon pot than 3 or 4 gallons and you might have to stick a third repot in between.

The cons are only that the bigger pots take up more space.
That makes them less soil, water, and light-efficient.
If you're growing a lot of plants, this is a big deal.
If you're only growing a few, go for it.
