Foliar feeding should be ok, there is no need to mist that much in my opinion. Too much water with a lot of light can function to burn the leaves due to the lens created by the droplets on the leaf.

In my opinion, misting that much is going to give you problems. Especially if they are flowering, you will almost certainly get mold or some necrosis (dead spots, rotting) on your buds. Misting a couple times a week up until the 2nd week of flowering is closer to the norm, With a complete halt to misting after that. That's my humble opinion. You can love your plants to death if you're not careful.

Yeah, I think this leaf burn thing is not as common as people like to say it is. I've never had a burn problem, and I mist my plants a couple times a week.

Leaf material is hydrophobic -water beads for a reason(I don't consider this a problem)! It really doesn't want water on it. It would probably want water to collect any dust/crap and have it roll off with it. Dry leafs are healthy leafs. Water can introduce a friendly environment for bad things to happen. Prolonged exposure only serves to suffocate leaf material(it'll turn brown and die).

I was a firm believer that misting plants was over rated until I started doing it myself. The only reason I do it is because my room is super low in humidity. The only thing I have changed since my last grows are the fact that I mist them everyday and they love it. Misting plants is also good as it will help keep pests at bay, especially spider mites which love dry climates. Now is it a good thing to mist plants when RH is 50 and above, probably not as plants have to respire.
But misting them very 2 hours is way over kill IMO.

Reviving an old thread :D. How far do you have the light from your plants. Is it the light cooled down or is it an open hood?

Hi Guys,
I like to mist my plants too...though not in late flower. One big issue I was warned about is the risk of getting water on a hot HID bulb. Those suckers can explode.
