hey riu... quick question.

can you mix different ferts together?

like i am feeding my girls bud candy but would like to add some nitrogen at the same time...
can i do this??
im on a feed, water, water schedule

thanks:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:

They do need n during flowering, especially in the first half. Give them a quarter to half dose. But do it on a day you aren't feeding with anything else just to avoid problems.

In the past first three weeks or so of flowering, I'd do a half dose of Grow Big and half Tiger Bloom together with no issues, but I was lucky I didn't go for a full dose. When you only feed one thing at a time, any potential issues are more easily diagnosed.

But if they look like they. Need n, give them some

thanks man i have some sensi grow part A 3.7-0-0 thats should be fine right?

i also have some seabird guano high in N

Bud candy is more an addative to be used with your regular scheduled nutrient line up. I use this or calmag depending on what one is farther forward on my nutrient shelf. You dont need to worry about mixing this with nutes but follow the recomended doses.

As far as mixing nutrients your going to want to add the numbers together and divide by the highest common denominator. Once that is done you will have the levels of your new nutrient.

thanks man im going to use some sensi part A its 3.7-0-0 and im going to add a few sea bird pellets to the soil... it should last me through the season... i hope

whoa i disagree completly.

I mix nutes all the time. I get a big ass bucket, pour about 4 different fertilizers in there (from 3 different companies), add some organic tea in there, and water.

they key thing is to pay attention to the ratios. 2 things. the plants need what they need, and they dont need any extra. what i mean is your 3.7-0-0 is fine, but id mix that, with some 5-5-5, and some organic teas, for vegging. then for flowering, i might grab that same 5-5-5 stuff, and add it to something more like 1-5-7 for example, just so they get more P and K. then you got all the trace elements, 16 of them (that we know cause harm if ignored) and companies never contain all 16. some have a few, others have a few more, and i mix those in to make sure i get the best blend possible.

DO NOT OVER FEED. thats the most important thing. and yea, i guess scrogg is right, you could blow your self up... so dont add nute to nute, add nute to water, then more nutes, then more nutes. keep your nutes separate (dont pour one nutrient into the bottle of another). PH test them to know what they will do to the water after its in there. and remember, just cuz its in flowering doesnt mean it cant use nitrogen, and just cuz its veggin doesnt mean some potassium or phosphorus is bad. the plants will gladly take some, but not much. know what they want, and when, and youll be ok.

If it's a indica that finishes in 7-9 weeks and you are not past day 30(first signs of pistils)fed em weak N. After day 30-35 I wouldn't dare.

And yes, you can mix any nutes together, just not in concentrated forms.

Works for me but as he said most are short. If you read the labels and check the websites there are many brands that only contain 13 elements. Just use common sence and watch the numbers. A 10-50-10 is not something you want to be mixing with.
