Can you post online without being tracked?

G'day

I'm wanting to start posting my grows online with pictures, but i'm paranoid about being being caught since its the only real way I could be - my grow room is completely hidden away, silent, scentless and doesn't use huge amounts of power, and nobody knows about it - except you guys.

I was thinking of joining an online proxy, free or paid, and posting through one of those. Would this make my posts untracable?

Do police get information from the isp direct or from the websites/servers or both? I know that there are privacy clauses, but i'm under the impression that illegal activity breaches these....

Cheers

Post away, just be smart about what you are posting (no personal info or pics etc).:peace:

yah i was really skeptical at first too.. just make sure nothing identifying is in the background of your photos and just use common sense.

Yeah, I tend to think that if the DEA wants to find someone, no simple proxy or IP blocker or anything is gonna stop them. This is where all our tax money goes, towards technologies that are designed to always be one step ahead of the bad guys. That being said, I don't think they would have any reason to use that technology against you. I mean there are thousands of posters on here, hundreds who post pictures (if not thousands) and you're not doing anything that would call a red flag to you in particular. So if you want to post, go ahead, we'd all love to see what you've got going. But if you're not going to have an easy mind about it, it's not worth the paranoia you'll experience, however unjustified that paranoia may be.

The way the internet works is you send things OUT, via your Internet Service Provider(and also receive). So technically everything you do on the internet, google/upload/download/using a proxy/watever it is, is tracked(and kept in a database, but so is every other customer's info, so dont stress to much). Of course police can't just ask the corporation to hand over private information, but they can if they request it from a judge. I used to work as an intern with the Federal Gov for E.I. OAS CPP Fraud/Major Fraud. and in one particular investigation a friend of mine said after getting the records, they found out the claiment had gone on hundreds of porn sites. ahahaha

its crazy how one dude stickymango gets popped bc someone snitched on him and everyone is in an uproar bc he was on this site... trust it is best to use a proxy.. no doubt... but also none of us r worth an independent investigation by the gov to find our grows and if ne one is trust they will not b goin after 1-20 plants.. grow and post and enjoy the freedom bro good luck on your grow and please post a link
