1&2 HPS 3 CFL ...I'm going with the reverse.. only because I want it to be so bad. Not to mention the dirt is dried out on the first two and not in number 3.

Good observation but he needed to go deeper. It's not just the soil but what you can see in it.

The perlite is still white on the dried (dryer) soil. The perlite is yellowing on the wet soil.

Yellowing perlite gets my MH vote.

i think that 3 is on the cfls. the other two on the HID light. i figure you cant really tell a difference because the major diff. with lighting comes in budding, when hid lighting produces dense buds whereas cfls produce less dense bud. plus, at this stage, the plants are getting all the light they need from both sources, (because they are so young) so a more drastic difference will probably be found once the plants are more mature.

Pretty much right.. except for the spectrums. MH is perfect for veg. It gives the plant more than it needs. My guess is still 1 & 2 MH and 3 CFL.. and this is why:

I'm sure (based on everyones guesses) that we see the difference in size of leaves.. you would think the plant with the best light would have the biggest leaves.. My guess is the plant is using all of its current energy to make bigger leaves so it will be able to get more energy from the less intense light...
