Can You Use Green Light From a Computer Monitor? (for working @ night )

Ok so I have a computer with me, but no green light bulb.

Could I theoretically choose a green desktop and then hide all my icons, and use that as green light to work under? I also have photoshop, and could just fill an image with any variation of green, then put that on the monitor full screen.

lol you can use any light from your computer its not going to hurt. shit i turn on one of my 5 one thousand watt hps lights sumtimes when I need to cut clones or water before I go out of town. as long as its not and everyday thing dont trip.

You can get the correct green light at Walmart or Home Depot for only $5.
