can you use jiffy peat pucks in hydro?

hello riu.i have a bunch of jiffy peat pucks and just went hydro and dont want to waste them.i know alot of people use rockwool and rapid rooters but can i use the jiffy pucks in my ebb and flow with hydroten clay balls?any help on this would be great.
