Can you use multiple nutrients for veg and flower?

I would stick with something simple like the GH trio for your first grow, it is a 3 part nutrient system that you adjust based on your plants growth stage (other companies make something similar). They usually come with a feeding guide/schedule but you usually always want to feed 50% their suggestions to avoid nutrient burn / lock out. I would also suggest starting in soil for your first grow for your medium. Welcome to growing and RIU.

Good advice. To start stick with a single nute line and use their feeding schedule. It will make the typical issues beginners can possibly run into easier to diagnose.

I suggest going hydro for your first grow using a cheap and effective nutrient like jack's. Cheap does not mean low quality. Your not paying for marketing or food coloring. Hydro isn't hard. Use the right EC. Why would hydro be any easier or harder after doing a soil grow?

Hydro is the least forgiving medium and new growers will most always make mistakes, 1 mistake in hydro can cost an entire grow, but soil allows you time correct the mistake and learn for next time withour having to start from scratch. Not saying one is superior, just soil is generally more newbie friendly.

Agreed. This is why I am going back to basics and trying a 1-part 1 nute that takes you through veg and flower to just keep it simple and focus on the basics, that will always get you better yields, especially as a beginner, which I still am haha.

It allows for a new grower to recover from a mistake and complete a grow and learn instead of killing their plants with one fuck up. More forgiving and allows for a grower to learn and apply the basics.

Your going to make a mistake in any undertaking you venture into. You can mitigate risk by proper research and application. If your scared of risk and study you can aim low and start with a process that will teach you nothing about another. Hydro is ridiculously simple. The nutrients are already properly proportioned for you. All you have to do is follow instructions of those who have succeeded before which doesn't require you to read half a website. How does growing in soil first make hydro harder or easier?

Problems in hydro can be fixed far faster than soil. The best way to solve problems is before they happen though.

Hydro is forgiving.... Giggles. Pretty technical really.

Maxibloom + epsom salt. Will work from seedlings to finish. Cost about 10$ an entire grow to feed 6-12 plants.
