Fed the 5.5 week olds at 575ppm, 6.0Ph. 3 week olds still moist. Noticing how the older ones drink more because they’re all getting the same sun.

It kind of feels like I’m feeding them too much, but I’m not seeing any signs of burn at all.

Spaced all the plants out for better light.
500ppm, 5.8Ph feeding for the older ones.

Defoliated for the first time. 3-4 fan leaves each max. Don’t want to stress them too much. A48C027A-4DE1-4CD8-A3BF-0C6D8701C62C.jpeg

Watered/fed all plants both days 500-550ppm, 6.0Ph. Temps are very hot at 85-100f, 30-35c.
Had to put the small ones under the tree for shade during peak heat as a precaution. They had dried out and couldn’t water right away.

Here are some random shots. Gorilla Glue #4 showing its dense budding characteristics!

Stinking hot (36c/100f) everyday. Water and feed every day — roughly the same each time at 500-600ppm / 5.8-6.1Ph. Picking 1-2 fan leaves off each plant here and there every 3 days or so. Don’t want to stress them out with a full-on major defoliating. Keeping them all in the sun and just making sure they are watered/fed. One more week of this weather!

Some photos below!

Thirp discovery Aug 2nd, thread here:
Some strategies applied, closely monitoring (see thread).

Feeding the usual 500-600ppm, 6.0Ph.
Did a 700ppm feeding Aug 3rd. See how they take it. Plants given more space as they finish stretching.

Upped the Maxibloom a bit from 500-550ppm avg to 650-725ppm. I feel pretty confident they can handle it. Also sprayed them all down again. I sure if Thirps are still around or in there are newly damaged leaves, so I put a yellow sticky on there to monitor for 24hrs.

Some pics.

Just watering everyday. Went back to 550-650ppm recently.

The Thirps came back in a huge way, so I’m ordering some biological controls — predator bugs and mites. A bit costly but these Thirps can potentially ruin the entire run. Lots of damaged leaves, leaves going from the nice dark green to a light green and eventually yellow. This sucks!

Do it. Get a good grow plan together, follow it to a tee, and you’ll get huge autos. The ones I got overconfident with turned out smaller, but all in all I’m very happy. Genetics super important too of course.

There definitely leaps and bounds better from most places than the earlier autos on the market like lowrider etc
I know it.. i was always curious about auto strains since the late 90's .. i just wasnt impressed with the yeilds or potency back then..
But ive been seeing over the years how autos have come leaps and bounds .. theyre getting really good yeilds now off of them and the potency has came way up..
