Wow... What a dumb response.. You should at least get your facts straight before attempting to flame someone with an actual question.. Of course you can push air through a carbon filter, it flows through the same way that it wouldf if you were to suck air through it.GUy ....what a dumb question...a canfilter has only one end in which you can attatch a hose to,which would mean there would be NO way to Push air trough a canfilter cause there would be no where for it to blow out from since there is only one end to it...lol..you have to suck the air through it.

On the contrary, I pushed air through mine for months before I figured out a way to mount it in my room. It filters the smell just as well either way, but the fan seems a bit less restricted now.
If there was nowhere for the air to blow out from, how would the air get in when you suck through it?
Hey i got a question do you have your can fan exhaust separate from your light exhaust?
For real cuz i just got into flowering and mayn that shit stank but ima ordr a 4inch can filter with a inline fan that is rated 170 CFM i current have two four inch kinda looks like pc fans i bought at hydro shop both rated 110 CFM one for the light and the other just sucking air out the room. but im dont even kno if i need that 170 Cfm inline fan? what you think the two fans i have are good enough to pull air trough the filter? i would think of connecting both fans with a Y. I appreciate the help.
I already have a ac hose from the house bring fresh air in
