I added the oil to 20x it’s volume of iso99
The oil dissolved in the iso but the solids stayed together, they where hard n brittle
It looked like lava rock because of the porosity (full of holes)
I left it in the mix and added 2x the oils volume of Active Carbon.
I left it for 16hours, I filtered the mix and cooked off on a mag hot plate.
The solids where removed and brittle
I set them aside, after a day they changed their state, from solid to a liquid
After heating it with a heat gun it looks like wax or budder.
The oil is a lot better then before and is smokable, but I don’t really know how good as the starting material is said to be 100% CBD , so no buzz
If you don’t count the “wax” the oil return
Works out to about 7%
So a little better, but what a lot of work
Next time I make it , I’ll do a QWISO
then use the unit to see what happens.
But I just picked up a lot of coconut oil
So I’ll be playing with that.
