Does anyone have any links to any good info on the gene sequence? I'd like to start thinking about this deeper.

This site is cool, use the search to find a strain then click on the strain, then click the galaxy button...

This site is neat too, search for a strain on it:

Here are some other starting points for some scholarly reading:

Or are you asking about marker assisted selection? For recombination breeding. Pretty much out crossing and back crossing

We had some brick weed (80's) that came in metal cylinders with welded ends, they were compressed super tight, low seed count for old school brick weed. It smelled like manure in a barn. It was terrible smelling but it did get people high lol. The discs out of the tubes were like a little bigger than a hockey puck was a 1/4 pound. When you broke some up for a joint it just kept busting up and you ended up with enough for 3 or 4 joints. But yeah it wasn't tastey. People still bought it though. Definitely not the connoisseur heads tho lol.

Those are good links. Thanks. I'm just looking at the sequence and trying to seeing what is associated with what. Trying to figure out how to get mackerel genes into the herb. Just kidding.

Did you ever grow any beans of it? If so did it taste like manure?

Oh gosh no, we wouldn't waste time on trying to grow that, most brick weed, at least back in those days, was more than likely equatorial sativa and if grown indoors it would never want to ripen and made for very poor quality flower. I typically only grew beans that were from some fire sacks. I found a few real winners back in those days that I wish I still had. One was a real juicy fruit strain, smelled exactly like juicy fruit gum, super awesome sativa buzz.
