Cannabis Love's humble 7' x 5' x 9' 600w MH/HPS Closet Grow Journal

Okay. I'm posting a journal online. What am I smoking?!

Just another garden variety cannabis smoker desiring to be self-sufficient, and opposed to the manufactured illegality of a benign plant.

My closet is approximately seven feet long, by five feet wide, by 9 feet high, painted flat white, with a wood floor (soon to be covered with panda film) and a single door at the opposite end of where the light is over two plants in veg.


600w dimmnable ballast with air-cooled hood (unused & no glass).

How the hell do you cool your room down? DO you have central AC? Any exhaust? How is your air exchange besides the room door being open?

I live in a midwest state, and right now I have an window air conditioner going to keep the temps down. I have no way other than leaving the closet door open to bring in fresh air. What would you suggest? I was thinking of going with this unit in the near future:

Update: Both plants in closet are girls! Blunts for everyone haha

Congrats on the girls! What size pots are those in? Look a little small, move them into 5gal pots and they should blow up.

Listen to this guy! 5 gal pots are the norm for closet grows.

Whats your grow medium? Plan on using any nutes? How big do you plan on growing them?

Thanks! They are in pots smaller than 5 gallons, but larger than 2 lol - not sure how big they are

any reason you're choosing to just let'em go wild? Thought the reason we grew indoors was for the control? Plants look great regardless.

As it stands, I have maybe two months before an inspection. Sucks to be in a non-medical state in this day and age - but it is what is for now. I want to have something to spark up the new year with
