Cannabis or not?

This is strange to me. I love in an apartment and my neighbor has a ton of seedlings/ plants that came up in the back with a leaf structure identical (to me) to cannabis. But the older seedlings don't have woody stems. I don't have allot of experience growing but in my time I have never seen such a soft stem on plants this size. Does anybody know?

Well that was a waste, the guy that lives in the apartment where this garden was called the cops four days in a row for landlord/maintainance issues.....yeah they inevitably ripped them out. Naturally. Damn guy.

Japanese maple crush it and smell it
 
I did at one point, just smelled green then. Cops pulled them though cept for a couple tiny stragglers so.....they were convinced it was cannabis not that alone means alot

NOT that it means alot, what I meant
 
Alot of people don't know but weed grows wild in alot of places during ww2 we used alot of hemp farms to use for the war but abandoned all of them afterwards so it naturally just started to spread

I grew up in the CP rail days right across the street from the tracks lol. Used to get across town in no time on those thing lol. Definitely grew up on the tracks!!
