Cannabutter, evaporation, & dosage

First time making cannabutter! I used the double boiler method and cooked for 4 hours between 180-200°F (& yes, I decarbed)
I started with 4 sticks of butter and when i poured the final product into the mold, I only had 3 sticks ! I know the water in the butter evaporates, which is fine I guess... 1 whole stick seems like a lot though.
I'm wondering if this will increase the butter potency??
I used 28 g of flower and 1 pound of butter (4 sticks). Flower has 23.8% THC
The recipe calls for 6 tbsps of butter. There are 6 servings in this recipe.
I've used several dose calculators and even chat bots and keep getting different numbers for dose... and with 1 stick being evaporated, now I REALLY don't know the dose per serving.
Can anyone please help ? I'd really appreciate it! Thank you!

I would just add back in the missing stick and mix it all up. It is normal to lose that butter during the process.

With the numbers you presented, your brownies will give a good kick. I would be eating 1/2 half of a 1 inch brownie... from a pan of 81 for instance.

I don't worry about dosing. I go by how high i get. Unless you have a lab you really don't know the potency for actual THC levels.

4 years making brownies and still learning :)

It is definitely not an exact science. Last time i used hash and guestimated 60%. My mg measurement was off by a factor of 10 and the resulting batch of brownies was a real surprise on the first test.
