Will my cannabutter be OK as I have used wet trimmings? I am going to simmer it for 3 hours. This is my first time eating weed

Don't know how potent it will be.
I personallly use 1 oz bud to 1 pound butter.

Just remember, wait after ingesting at least 45 min. For effect,. Semi empty stomach is helpful.

Looking good, been simmering for about 1 hour 20 mins. How long do I need to simmer for??

After you have strained out all the trash out. Put the liquid in the fridge. I put my stuff in the freezer side, faster result. So that the butter will float to the top as it solidify. Once, it has hardened. Remove the hardened butter and dump the liquid.
That's it.
Time to cook something up.
Try baking some cookies. Get one of those premix cookie mixes. Follow the directions on the box. If it call for 1 cup of butter or oil. That's what I follow.

THC is completely degraded at temperatures in excess of 392 F. So, bake at a lower temp for a little longer.
I like 275 - 300 F

Ha every time I make butter I think the same thing. Apparently the way i make it a half of a cookie is plenty. Well for the first week of eating edibles and getting used to them again
