Cannatonic harvest time

I have a single Cannatonic plant that is definitely near the end of its cycle, many hairs are now brown and shriveled. I have looked at the trichomes and they are surprisingly small compared to other plants that I have grown, so it is a little difficult to tell their color. I have seen no amber but lots of milky trichomes. My question is that Cannatonic is a high CBD strain- does this affect the harvest time at all? Should I still be aiming for mostly milky trichs with some amber, or would pulling it early vs late produce more desired results?

a lot of people (including me) like to just take a look at the plant as a whole and judge based on visual ripeness, regardless of genetics... without even looking at the trichomes

Well, it does look very close. Sorry for low quality but this is what most of the plant looks like
