Alright so i think one of em has Mg def, and some of em are drooping but i am going to take care of it tomorrow. I dont think im going to have room for all of the ones in soil, so im gonna try and transplant these bigger plants into aero. I did one today and it seems fine, but we will see how it looks in the morning. I might keep one or two in soil and move them into bigger pots, because i think one of the biggest problems might be that they are root bound (because theyre in tiny pots) Also i should have my flowering box built by the weekend and then i think i will cut some clones (if they are big enough) and then start flowering and see how they do. I ordered a bottle of BMO Plant tonic plus some of their other products, and i cant wait for them to get here...ive heard good things about this stuff. Anyway, if anyone is reading this and wants to help out thatd be sweet. Should have pics soon...

Thanks man, and no ive never used mh or hps before (this is my first grow), but i dont have the option of either because my mom wont let me (lol). For flowering i'm building a box and ima put the 48'' flouro fixtures on the sides of the box facing in and hang cfl's from the ceiling. Hopefully ill produce some pretty good bud. The plants are growing DAMN well for flouros, and anyone who is skeptical about their greatness should just read this thread and look at the pics (which i havent recently posted yet lol) and see for themselves.

Alright so there were some HELLA droopy ones in the soil when i woke up this morning and other ones look burnt (but not nute burn cus i'm using organics and i havent added shit this week) and some are yellowing, and one for sure has Mg def and is all crispy, and the ones in aero seem to have phosphorous def, with all these tiny spots and like round ish leaves and purple stems. So yeah not lookin too good...so heres what i did. In the soil, i added some Whitney Farms Organic Tomato and Vegetable Food 4-5-3, some dolomite lime (for Mg just in case), Kelp Meal, and some endo/ecto mychorrizal fungi, and watered with some molasses. I cut off all the dead/crispy/nasty leaves off the plants so they dont concentrate any energy on keeping them alive. I'll let you guys know if they perk up and/or die lol. In the aero, i threw in some Neptunes Harvest Organic Fish & Seaweed Fert 2-3-1. Checked the pH and it was 6.0, water temp is 68. Air temp in the whole thing is about 80, Humidity probably about 30-40. Dont know the pH of the soil because i dont have anything to test it with...

The transplanted one has some dying younger leaves, but seems to be doing well. Its roots have grown a little since yesterday which is a good sign. The roots of all but one plant (and the transplant) are at the bottom of the res...holy shit. My two week old plants are as developed as my almost two month old ones...aero is the bomb.

Anyway, anyone readin this feel free to comment etc whatever. The more demand i get for pics the more likely it is i will put them up lol because right now it seems like almost no one sees them...

K hopefully pics soon...sorry loadeddragon. Started flowering today, Gave em some flower power (bmo). I built a box and its light proof, so thats good news, i cant wait to see which ones are females. All the plants are in the aero now except for one, and the newly transplanted ones seem to be doing great. Water temps are definetly a problem and i need to fix that but right now i'm too fucking busy to do anything lol and as long as theyre growing its all good. Let me know what you think

aight so i got a light proof box, more lights in there (a couple cfl's and i got a fatty 100w flouro tube but i gotta get a thing to put it in first (like a big ass socket) so thatll happen after i get back. oh yea im going to the beach for the weekend so yeah. plants are on a timer. 5 hours of darkness last night 9 hours tonight and then into 12/12. Theyre growin really fast. res temps still kinda high but no sign of root rot...temps seem to be staying down in the box too. i have a fan blowing air around and an out hole, but there is no intake so air is kinda circulating in/out through that one hole and its working pretty well. added more BMO Super Plant Tonic and Flower Power today, and foliar fed with the Foliar Harmony. Such hippy names lol i cant get over it.

Anyway yeah, if anyone has questions/advice/comments thatd be tight

Alright so I just got back from the beach, and holy shit have they grown. All the transplants survived...and theyre growing great. the roots are brown towards the top, but then they get white for like the bottom half so they seem to be doing fine. I cant reach into the bottom of the res anymore because theres so many damn roots...guess that isnt really a problem though :bigjoint:

Added some flower power/spt and a gallon of cold water (cus the temps were a little high) and tried to make the box light proof (having some issues). also for ventilation i was wondering what is a cheap and effective method...the box is essentially 4x4, but the ceiling is slanted from four to five feet at the top, so its not exactly but whatever. Do people use computer fans? Helps pleaseeee

same here, sittin back and watchin the grow
and i use computer fans, have two of them now while sproutin and for veggin then my put in an extra one for intake

i have one for intake and one for outake, and have them hooked up to a spliced charger producing 12v of DC power and these fans blow hard, made my box go from 105f w/out fans to 78f with fans. Relatively cheap items and can be acquired from older computers and sometimes you can find some good large ones too.
Good luck and check mines out sometime I'll have more pics up soon.

Mrniceguy...if you could give me some info on where to get computer fans/how to set them up that would be amazing.

Anyway, i got some pics today (fucking finally) and theyre kinda blurry but not really so yeah, thats good. Added some plant tonic, foliar feed, and flower power to the res, along with some dolomite lime mixed with chlorine free water (because one of the plants is showing signs of mg def). The temp is kinda high, but the pH is between 5.8-6 so thats good. One of em is definitely a male, and i'll chop it in a little bit. Still waiting on signs for the rest, hoping i can get a few good females to find the best and mother it.

But anyway, on to pics...theyre in a random ass order and its too damn complicated to label them all so yeah. One of em looks like is has mg def, and the other has just really light green leaves (obviously a def or problem so some kind) Help would be great.

I just finished typing you and had a big ass answer for you but damn Firefox randomly closed and fucked it up.
I'll attempt to type it over just cause I'm a lil high still.

To acquire a computer fan you can get it from eBay, just do a search for it. Really cheap sometimes less than a dollar if your lucky.
Computer stores have them, and you can even get them from older computers you don't use or something like that. There are usually 2-3 computer fans in one computer. You really only need two but I have three. Two for intake and one for exhaust threw Activated Carbon.
You can use them to point at your plants cause a good breeze is always welcomed when growing Mary, and it allows for the plants to get a nice stem going for heavier buds.
Next step above that is getting a home made Co2 bottle from yeast and shit, look it up on here, some great examples. That with the circulation they will love it.

Not sure your full set-up but your roots are super nice.
And your yellow leaves could be that your plant is getting burned from using too much nutes.

Keep me updated I'm watchin:dunce:

thanks for the help...and i'm using organics so im pretty sure its not nute burn...but who knows. any suggestions on when to start using co2? the sooner the better right? or only during flowering...?

And anyone know shit bout the purple stems???

happy friday :bigjoint:

Purple stems can mean your room is too cold or your water you give them is too cold. One of the things.
I use my Co2 right before flowering then when flowering.
