Can't afford electricity in summer for grow

NOW THAT SUMMER a/c is off, I am going to germinate Dinafem:
WHITE SIBERIAN 1
MOBY DICK 1
BLUE HASH 1
BLUE WIDOW 1

KANNABIA SPECIAL FROM KANNABIA 1 AND,
BARNEY'S AF POWER FLOWER 2

If all germ, I'm going for a big yield for this fall/winter grow (7 girls total)

My patio grow failed this summer fron not enough direct sunlight !!!

My HID light keeps my grow room at good temps even with a window cracked for my ventilaton/air filter set up...

yea this is my first winter doing this. and im in a shitty 1978 mobile home with no damn insulation whatsoever. so hopefully my 400wHPS will warm it up. anybody ever put straw or mulch on top of them in the winter for insulation?

My 400W keeps the grow area nice and warm 68-83F, (night-day)
I have no experience w/ insulation...but surely others here do.
