Can't find thru hull fittings, please help

I'm building an ebb & flow system, and I need a leak proof fitting to penetrate my flood trays with. I've heard them referred to as through-hull fittings, but I looked at Home Depot and couldn't find any. Does anyone know another name for them? Do they sell them at Home Depot? Can I just run the threaded portion of a male adapter through the hole and screw a female adapter onto that.

Look for bulkheads, or you can thread a male through to a female just use rubber o rings or silicone to seal it well. Or you could just order the pieces online, sure it may cost a little more but you get exactly what you need.

I don't want to have any grow equipment delivered to my home, so ordering online isn't really an option 4 me. I guess I'll just try the male/female adapters with o-rings, unless someone else has another idea? I don't leave fro HD for an hour or so.
