Make sure that when you cut your clones from the mother, that the clones are from new growth. If the stems are hard they will not take roots. I use sunshine #4 in the 72 starter trays with the high top dome. Olivias cloning solution to water up the starter packs. Then a root starter on the stems, stim root #1. Use some water and make a paste, not too thick not too thin. Rub it on the stems. Cut the clones so that they are at least one or two nodes and cover the nodes with the paste. poke a hole in the peat with an old chopstick to the bottom of the #4 and slip in the clone and tighten up carefully. Put the tray on a shelf in a closet with a 125 w sunblaster lamp. Open the vents on the dome a little, and do not water for at least 5 days. temp should be around 80 f in closet. If it is warmer than that you may have to water again, but too much water is not good. After about 5-6 days cut off some of the bottom leaves to clean them up, so the don't start to mold. Lots of roots in7-10 days and the stragglers in about 14 days. The dome should have moisture in side on it's own. If not close the vents a bit. If the packs are dry by all means water with more Olivia's.
