Can't get Mg def. under control

SS AK47, hydroton in pots on flood table .
Up to 4tsp. / G of Cal Mag Plus. I even have to dilute my other nutes to keep my PPMs under 1500 w/ this much CMP
Half of the leaves of the ones I just cut were covered in rust spots and all girls are pointing leaves upward praying for Mg.

sure it was mg deff? if you added mg at the correct rate, you should be fine. I had these probs before. Leaves don't repair, new ones that are good will grow and be fine if you corrected the prob. PPM seems fine, sometimes K diff seems like mg.

Try a foilar spray of Mg, that is what I am going to try from now on to fix the mg prob

The new plants are all pointing leaves upward about the time they start growing pistols.

When foilar feeding do I have to worry about burning the leaves with the water drops acting like a magnifying glass?

Id find the cause then just try to give it more. Hows your PH, calibrated your PH meter recently?

you need to foliar feed for a mg deficiency if you want fast results...and i would get away from the cal/mag and use straight epsom salt in the res and in the spray...spray your plants when they first get up before the lights heat up...
