So I’m not the sharpest tack in the pack and am having trouble understanding why my new filter fan combo isn’t working. Can someone PLEASE help me.

humidity just keeps on getting sucked away lol. 46% and dropping.

Attached are photos of the app and what I’ve set the ranges I’d like it to stay at…. Humidity just keeps going down.

Blue tabs on the left turn the low limit on/off
Red tabs on the right turn the high limit on/off
Slider sets your limits

In my case i just turn off the low limits and im fine. Your situation is likely different but you could try turning off the humidity LOW limit.

Might try setting the fan speed to 5 and see how that goes.

Thank you. I turned off the low limits and the fan turned off and everything feels like it’s doing what I hoped. Thank you very much.
Anything I can do setting wise to make the humidity stay up for veg and low for flower?

Edit also I really need help with how to set up late flower at night it gets super humid. I guess there’s no heat from the light drying the air out at night I don’t know.

In line fan as an intake as well, get two variacs so you can keep a positive or negative pressure in the tent. Keep in mind whatever the temp and rh in the room will new a bit higher in the tent. Your rh will get higher with plants and soil(assuming soil but any medium will hold moisture and effect rh).
Plant transpiration will also effect rh. z
Zip tie the fan to the top of the tent and get rid of the ball jar, i bet that jar gets hot. QB are tough because of the heat. During flower proper defoliation will help with rh. I would see how hot the tent gets at 100% then add a few degrees for when the plants are in there. 1 plant in a 5 gallon transpires "about" 1 L per day. Whatever goes in goes out via vapor. This also depends on your watering regimen. Hope this helps a little.

I have a spare 4” fan with controller. You think I should put the covers on the passive intake vents and use a 4” intake fan on what low?

I like the idea of using the intake fan for fresh air.

also, I love defol. We do it at work every other week. Very important for commercial facilities and homegrows IMO.

quick question. My RH gets way high at night in flower. I’m talking 80%… I guess the QBs heat takes off the edge during day but at lights off man the humidity stacks up. Will the intake can help this, or what can I do on the controller to fix this?

Thank you for the help.

Run your lights at night and see if it helps.
I am not a big fan of stock speed controllers, but they work. Variacs can be a good investment.

You have to play with intake and exhaust, you may find the high rh is due to semi stagnant air. I also do not know what your room conditions are.
