Carbon Filter for portable AC unit

I've had to install an AC unit in my room and am going to need to come up with the filter for the exhaust once flowering starts. The AC unit has an ionizer built in but who knows how well that is going to work. I've seen some DIYs for filters on this forum for standard inline exhausts, has anyone used these for portable AC units? Thanks. +Rep for replies.

Also wondering how I can figure out the CFMs of my AC unit. It only has PSI listed.

The built in ionizer or whatever is advertised won't do much to remove the fragrance ... so definitely invest in something else if it'll present problems.
