Carbon filter issues

I bought a 6" filter from vivdsun about year ago. Lately, I've been noticing a powdery substance that accumulates on the filter itself along with the mesh filter that clogs up my filtration causing problems in my tent. I've tried to replace the filter but the problem comes right back after about my first grow. What can I do to fix this issue? Can I tear it down and rinse the screen part? Or is it just a cheap product? Help me....

My cover is washable. But its inside the mesh filter

That means it is just a disposable filter like a bic lighter

is the room your tent in really dusty

if its a mold problem youd want to clean it well

No my tent is clean. I scrub it down after every grow. Bleach it down

What filter would u recommend? I was told to soak it in hot water and dry it out

You have to remove the charcoal and bake it at a high temperature to reactivate the charcoal which is why most people don't bother
