Carbon Filter/Scrubber Door

So I was thinking... i've been looking at all of these ways to make carbon scrubbers or filters by putting it into the ventilation.
what if, in addition to these, you were to add a carbon filter door to the room you use?
would this work in theory?
take the measurements for the door and then put up a frame with hinges. add two sheets of mesh to the sides and fill the inside with carbon. wouldn't the air going out that "screen door" filter out the smell of weed?

or am i just too high and not thinking clearly?

It would work fairly well, but why would you want to spend so much money on active carbon? Regular filters are far more cost effective and efficient

All things being equal, it wouldn't work. The filters rely on airflow to trap stinky volatile organic molecules in micropores, so you need some way of forcing the air through the filter. That would mean running your room at massive overpressure, not really a good idea unless your room is perfectly airtight except for the carbon filter door, and even then every time you open the door you've got no filtering going on at all and a rush of stinky air flowing out. At least with a traditional filter system it still works when you're entering/leaving the room.
