Card Question- RE PoPo

I told my buddy he should stop trying to grow any plants because recently he was visited by OCS and they confiscated his plants but did not destroy or remove his equipment, also he said one of the officers told him to not vent to the side like he was doing next time. so what is the ruling on being able to grow while waiting to see if any chargers are going to be brought.? I read on the net, sometimes it takes up to a year for a case to be brought up...what's you guys thoughts.......

He was within his plant count and had his card, and they still took his plants?

plant limit could be the issue since grow area was shared by his brother who also was carded....IDK he didn't go into the spec's....I just thought it was odd of the popos to leave him his equipment and only cut his tubing to vent outside. maybe there going to keep an eye on his place to see if he starts back up....but I told him to wait and see whats going to happen. and not grow

Sounds like some kinda balogna to me. LEO cant cut ducting in your room. They can however, and do, confiscate plants and leave equipment all the time. Round these parts where I live its very common for people getting caught over their plant counts and LEO simply takes the extra plants or has the grower destroy them on site and thats the end of it. In a just world, going over counts should only be a civil infraction punishable by a maximum of a fine but we all know how the Michigan mj laws are. Dont test em. You might lose your ability to assert a medical defense in court altogether from going over counts.

If your story is real, your friend is fine. If they were gonna charge him they would have charged him.

Police are waiting for the prosecutor to decide on what if any charges should be brought forward on them. Not sure if its legal for a shared space.

If cops saw my grow I'd be growing elsewhere. You know they will find a way to come back ...and sooner or later you will get put in jail..especially if they see anything of value in your crib. Dirty bastards always got an eye on shit that don't belong to them!
