i have yet to see any more money that I have put into my grow effort. BUT what I have done, is cut those 100.00 a quarters and 300.00 an oz costs and dropped it to around 80.00 a month in electrical costs, and 20.00 a month maintenace, essentially keeping 200.00 of my own money in my pocket instead of in the dispensaries cash till.

I wouldn't agree with you on that point guy. The republicans in charge of the state right now never wanted the '08 act passed and they don't like having to eat sour grapes now that their side lost on the issue. There are a lot of interests in the state government that benefits from medical marijuana NOT being available legally to anybody such as law enforcement, the prison industrial complex, and the judicial system - they all lose out on the ability to put medical marijuana patients and caregivers through their meat grinder and sap them of every last penny they have. Right now there are over 100,000 people in the state of michigan that we just took out of the bread line for all of those interest groups and republicans don't like it.
You think too much of these noble civil servants bob; they're not all that noble and not at all honest. This is all about money and control...if you can't see that, you need to get your head out of the sand and look around my friend.

None of the issues that truly need to be addressed are being addressed. They need to be making amendments on the definition of when a clone becomes a plant and many other issues but they don't want to talk about those things because they have no real interest in helping any of us. These amendments are just obstructionist bullshit that will do nothing to benefit the patient and only gives more power to the government.

Oh, I fully understand that. I also fully understand that most cg's are about money and control..not all, there are some true care givers.
Cannabis, medical or not, is big business. Big business and large money attract crooks. And when crooks start fighting other crooks...innocent people get caught in the crossfire.

Actually, I brought up that point long ago...and there are people fighting for those types of Bills and rulings. Thing is, the loudest voices are those with the most money. And those people right now are far more concerned with gaining control of the med market and making profit, than helping define the "small" points. I've been trying to get individuals to write and call reps for months, and ask for positive bills...no one wants to listen.
Guess we should just trust Timmahh and the CPU to take care of us...yea, right.

Yup, I draw disability...because I paid into an insurance policy for 40 years before I got sick. No entitlement...just insurance..it's what insurance is for.

Why don't we all try minding our own goddamned business? There is room at this table for everyone. If a caregiver wants to grow 72 plants, and isn't looking out for his patients, then shame on the patient for not booting his ass to the curb and finding a new caregiver. If you're a patient, and you think the plants are yours, and you're entitled to the whole plant come harvest time, then grow the fucking plants yourself. Like Cory and Trevor said .... if a paraplegic can compete in an iron man, then ANYONE can grow pot. No excuses!
If you want to be like hic and give your meds away for free, rock on. That's might noble of you! If you're on the other end of the spectrum and you're juicing patients for $300 a zip, rock on. If the patients aren't happy, then you'll find yourself without patients to caregive for in short order.
