So you say you trim a pound a day and when you finish trimming one rack the top rack is dry...So one pound is drying in a day??
i think what he is saying is the rack holds 5 lbs and by the time he fills it up it been 5 days since the 1st lb was trimmed so he will remove that lb and trim another and keep rotating so they get 5 days to dry per pound

Here are a couple of pic's from today

Only the GDP has been harvested, you can see her skeleton still inside the cage, got 2.25 lbs from her

The PK & WW are about 1 week away

The WW's have all fallen over. If I didn't have the cages, they'ed be on the ground

The thing I'm worried about now is mold, but so far so good

DoubleJJ, I got such a case of the giggles looking at the size of that plant that my wife had to pause the movie she was watching because she couldn't hear it over my laughter. Just huge plants! And I can understand the concern about mold. Air movement has to be a big concern with plants that large.

Got a question for you guys. Any of you ever used visqueen and duct tape to seal up a room? Thinking of using the guest bedroom to dry/cure in but I don't want the smell throughout the house. I can close off the vents and can plaster the room with visqueen and duct tape to seal it off from the rest of the house's air flow. Think that would confine the odor to that one room?

eh mostly but the thing about smells, it can eventually permeate through stuff. you walls are porous and after a few days, you will smell it outside the room. how much are you planning on drying in there? if you cover the whole room in plastic wrap, would be the best way to keep smells in. and a carbon filter.

But once you seal it off, you gotta stay in there untill there done. Your not gonna want to open the door!
