Cash Croppers

I am curious as to what a "cash cropper" would do away with 5Lbs, as well as 10Lbs of good bud for? It doesn't have to be top shelf, but at least seedless, non-compressed, decent nugs. I am also interested as to what state the prices are in, as well as indoor/outdoor grown.

lol, Im not looking for any specifics on towns or any such thing. For all I care your buddies grandmothers cousins uncles baby momma told your roommate the price and you happened to hear it over the phone. Im no cop, just looking to widen horizons eventually, and figured this may be a good place to begin conversating with more knowledgable, experienced people. Besides, 10 Lbs of Parsley isnt anything illegal is it? =)

not looking to become a drug dealer, I just have a buddy who was speaking about a ridiculous price. I was just curious to see if anyone could help me with finding out how true this price, but seeing how nobody is interested in helping, I'll go elsewhere for information

around my way 400 a zip isn't unheard of. do some math and I'm sure you can come up with a number. obviously you'll be giving a quantity discount.

Thank you dP for a response, i am not sure how to like your post as you are the first person to show me any positive response. But I am particularly interested in how much price difference there is between large quantity. I know Os move between 200 at lowest and maybe 400 at most, 500 is ridiculous, even in midwest. But what my friend had mentioned was more around 65$ per ounce, but in very large quantity. I have never heard of it this much of a discount, but with the California outdoor prices dropping dramatically (from what I have heard) I wondered ifmaybe there is some truth behind it.

I'll bite.
Meh there's really no ballpark sum even when it comes to specific places. It's kind of a fluctuating market. Depending on the time of year and stuff prices rise and fall.
Let's take a look at illegal states for example.
Like lets say if you lived in the states and it's Sept and Oct. Most people are pulling in their outdoor crops so the market is flooded at that point. The market tends to dry up a bit around January in illegal states because growing on any mass scale just isn't THAT easy. You have to take it to the woods and then the factors of getting caught by Leo, ripped and then nature destroying everything comes into play.
Now the poundage they come off with are probably dispersed locally to their guys. Who would tend to buy in pounds. Then it goes from there into the public.
Lets take the guy I got my personal smoke from back in the day. He was a good solid connect for picking up an 8th to a zip any day of the week. I got herb from him almost exclusively for a good 8 years. Just strait commercial compressed mids. Always had some beans in there. Always 20 an 8th from day one.
Got to know the guy pretty well and he explained it all to me. Around fall he got his stuff from his guy for 600 a lb. When the supply was running dry it'd go up to around 800. And he personally would go through a lb a month. 2 on a good month. But that was commercial compressed stuff. Wasn't the freshest stuff in the world. It was dried. Had a decent smell and potency was average. It was consistent though and so was he  may he rest in peace.
Now that's just a comparison to CCM and the way prices fluctuate.
I'm sure it's different rules in different places. In illegal states a majority of the people still smoke shwag and mids from what I've seen. Low priced stuff you know? Growing meds that are more potent isn't really THAT productive because most people aren't willing to throw top dollar for "topshelf" stuff because they'd have to increase prices on their people to make a decent profit. In long term profits if they can get rid of the low priced stuff with steady customers and keep their cash flow consistent then they'll go the safer rout. If they can get some "fire" from you at a good low price it'll go to their people and they'll love it. It's only smart business really.
And your normal average everyday Joe isn't going to either. Sadly it's quantity over quality. There are exceptions though. But that's in non medical states. Kinda risk>reward type thing.
In medical states you tend to find higher quality stuff and it's become common. People can grow it semi openly and take their time doing what they need to do to raise the bar. I have a cousin in a medical state I visit when the chance arises. It's just not that profitable because good herb is so common there. People are free to go indoors and outdoors to the limits the state mandates. Which is more than enough once someone gets their grow style and system dialed in.
