Truly an exciting day today!!! Hold on to your hats! So I was cleaning my parents basement acouple days ago and found 2 cast iron skillets and 1 saucepan. They were just wasting space and wasting away. So I decided to save them and reseason them. I brought them home and have been scrubbing them all morning. I finally got them as clean as they're going to get. After doing some research It looked as though Flaxseed oil is the best oil to use to reseason cast iron. So I rubbed them all over and have them in the oven at 350f for an hour. Once they cool down I'll repeat the process 2-3 more times and they should be awesome. Can't wait to cook some eggs in these bitches. Anyone else got any stories??
