i'm watching that area too....
people around my area are pretty friendly about what i do. Guess it just the luck i have, of course i've known these people since i was yeah high to a toad stole. Plus i also help alot of people in my area as well......outside growing with the temps i have is pretty much suicide for a plant anyways....in the later months not to bad, and of course early spring.

If you're growing outdoors, CCTV cameras are pretty much mandatory.
Go on Amazon and get yourself a set up. 4 channel systems can be had for ~$100 and 8 channel systems can be had for ~$150. Bought an 8 channel CCTV set up before I even loaded up my greenhouse. The $150 I spent on it saved my girls from rippers twice, so to say that it was money well spent is quite an understatement. They also sell things call IR Illuminators that are essentially infrared spotlights that are only visible to your CCTV cameras, had my greenhouse damn near bright as day. The other nice thing about CCTV cameras is that they allow you to get an idea as to just who it is that's in your yard rather than simply blindly confronting someone. You don't know how far some people are willing to go and there isn't an amount of green that is worth that kind of risk.

I have my camera set up for this year but I'll look into it!
And I really do believe he will stay away but if he doesn't he would harm me per say. He has too much to loose, as I do not. Not a bad thing not jus being a personal thing lol so I'm not too worried about being harmed but I I won't put myself in that position. Like I said I'm going to let the cops handle it if anyone breaks in this year

It's like that here in California too. Self defense is attacker is using weapon equal to or greater than the one you defend yourself with.
You could always use the old guerilla motto. Plant 4: 1 for the cops, 1 for the animals, 1 for the thief, and 1 for the head.
Just kidding. Use cameras and call your local HA to pay him "visit". Bikers like weed too.

i understand that you're not a violent person, but i'd really wait for the bastard, with a baseball bat, and make sure your first swing hits him in the head or the crotch. don't have to kill him, but knock the shit out of him, then tell the cops he assaulted you. that ought to get your message across, and maybe wake the neighbors up that their son isn't the little angel they think he is.

or you could hide somewhere with a bat, similar thing happened to me except it was with my little brothers bike. things didnt end up to good for the guy who came to steal the next one we left outside.

I think bear mace is the best. It has distance, It will hurt.. a lot and incapacitate anyone who gets a direct shot to the face. Plus it won't kill. A baseball bat to the head has the absolute potential to kill someone even with a light hit, skulls are fragile. It's really not worth killing a person over weed.
