I started my grow 1st of feb. 2013 from seed. The plants started out like champs but during the first week of growth i overwatered them and it took almost two weeks to dry them out. They recovered well(lost two out of twelve)but the other ten started growing pretty good.I moved them from the t5 two bulb light and put them into 1 gallon pots under an eight bulb t5 grow light.A few of the plants took off while others just lingered, growing new leaves and stuff but vertically not much change. After two weeks itransplanted to 5 gallon pots(root growth looks really good at this point). Now two weeks later the plants look great but height is still limited...three plants at 17 inches, three at 12 inches and the others are barely reaching 10 inches. Is this normal or did i permenantly stunt them?Im using all fox farm soils and nutes. Can anyone give me insight on what to do?Will they eventually catch up?dont want to go into flowering with 12 inch plants!!!

From seed on Feb. 1st until now is about 6 weeks... They may be a little small but nothing crazy major.
Your plants will "stretch" when you put them into 12/12... During the "stretch" some plants will double, even triple, in size... Make sure you have enough vertical space
I've flowered out plants that tall before. True, you won't get no QP off of them but you can pull a couple OZ's

Leave them alone. Unless they are yellowed and ratty. If they are mostly green leave them alone.

well just when you think "what else can happen" two HERMIES in the grow!!! So a lot of people have different ideas of what can be done with these plants and I guess what im wondering is can anything be done to keep these plants from seeding out or from pollenating the females? I sprayed the plants with reverse once and will again per instructions.Someone told me if you remove the pods they wont be able to pollenate the other plants? Im two weeks into flower and could use some input!!

If the strain is Cataract Kush you are talking about, don't expect much of a yield.
It is a powerful hitting strain and either pheno (LA Con or OG) are good. It likes being topped. It does not like being tied down, it has hard but brittle stems and will snap on you but will grow through it.

Are you sure you have "hermies"?

The hermaphrodite tendencies usually show up later in flowering as the plant tries to pollinate itself. You may just have male plants or you may be looking at the wrong thing.

Did you transplant them when the roots filled the smaller pots or did you just transplant them all at the same time?

Sorry. I was under the impression that you were still in vegetative growth.

Still, can you post pics of the hermies to be sure. I have seen people toss plants because they mistook a calyx for a male flower.
