yep they do and your going to need more then 2 cfls,i vegged my plants for 18days then 12/12, you can get the cfls anywhere.

I'm loving these now that you have the CFL. Don't worry about the heat quite yet, just keep the fan on them. There are heat spells in real life so they will live!!
How tall were the two when you vegetated them? Trying to get an idea when to start mine!

hahahaha it worked!!!! when the lights came on last night with my widow closed, i had a constant temp of 30-31c.then i open the widow and the temp dropped to 26-29c.
i have also got to lower the light from nearly 24in away to 14 in from the top of the tallest plant. i will drop the light down more tonight,i rekcon i could get as close as 8in but am going to do it day by day just to be on the safe side! lol
its been 2 days now that the 400w hps has been on, and the size of the buds on NL#1 has exploded. NL#1 has now stopped growing vertically and is 58cm,
NL#2 has had a very slow start to flowering and is nowhere near NL#1, she is only 48cm tall, but i dnt think she has stopped vertical growth yet.
the humidty of the grow room during the dark period reaches nealy 95%!!, but thats my fault for turning the fans off when the lights go off.
the only thing i need to do now, is to try and get my oc fan off the floor space and on to the wall of the grow room! any ideas?
i really did want to go all the way with the cfls but i just couldn`t see the point!
anyway heres a few pics! couple when the lights came on and a couple from this morning. enjoy!!!!!!!

You flowered at about 6 inches? Mine are all 9" - 12". I was going to wait until they were 15" to flower but now it seems that might be too tall. Your plants are very healthy.

well the tallest plant(NL#1) was 6in the rest were shorter.
if you have enough light then i don`t see why you should have a problem.

hey peeps! i got my hps down to 10in , i think i might be able to get it close with a bit of tweeking.
the temps haven`t changed i have a max temp of 31c,but most of the time it sits on 29c.
i have one more thing to sort out and thats my humidity in the dark preiod,i don`t want to buy a dehumidifer! so is there another way to drop my humidity?
