CFL & 4 Ft. T-12 combination

Anyone know anything about supplimenting light in the flowering stage with two 4 ft shop lights, each has two 40 watt bulbs 4100k color spectrum and 3200 lumens each bulb. I have currently vegged with 2 cfl daylight 27 watts each and 2 40 watts each.

Im looking to densen up my harvest without hps...

Hps lovers dont hate I just cant get the heat to move neighbors hear everything so other than building box and running an fan in that.... box and spending assloads of cash can i use the shop lights that i have here and go hps when i have the money please Info, experience just be proactive no assholes

Changed it up alittle with some y splitters... makes the ball of light look like the sun in a picture... LOL

pic of the whole setup... no frills but clean and reflective.. after this harvest im gonna build a stadium platform and add some hps. for now its learn and fuck up and learn from fucking up and bam the years fly by and im completely high!

a nice shot its working god dam well.. im gonna switch out the other two bulbs for blue light so itll flower like a beast... grabbed more shop lights its up to 6 now... complete surrounding of flouro and still dropped the cfl over the top.. gonna replace the cfl with a 90 dollar 250 hps from www.inside.sun.com... great find and let me know what up with comments

yeah female got some autoflowering lowryder ak 47 so im not gonna clone her just let her finish and start fresh.. gonna do 10 plants next run.. but i know ill need that hps.. stadium seating should come out nicely... ill put up more pics when i get some buds popping.. now its just preflowering 12 sites total...but i think i need more 2300k ive got 2 30 watt cfl and 1 40 watt cfl all 2300 but then i popped in 2 5500k flouro and 2 2300k flouro.. waiting for money to get that hps but im adding some more flouro no heat and mad lums..8 bucks for a 4 ft light bulbs included. cant beat the price

yup i just got a T8 to add in and already have a few assorted 23w-40w cfls in there .. only on day 4 tho but looking good

which the t8's t5's and t12's i dont understand its a long flourescent thing its energy efficient yeh where can u buy em and can they go straight into mains? or what? im very confused.

the dfference is the output of the bulbs.. the t12 are shop lights for commercial applications.. the put out the least amount of light but its still more than cfl.. the t5 are usually high output.. the T8's ive not seen much so im not sure if its closer to t12 or t5.. You can buy them at lowes or home depot. The base was 8 bucks and the bulbs are 2 for 6... so 14 bucks total for 5000 lumens per unit.... The bulbs produce zero heat directly.. so i can get them up on the plant within an inch or less. the length makes it great for total plant coverage.. I just havent read anything from people on riu that they use it or dont use it.. thats what im trying to figure out if people have used it what kind of results they got flowering with it... pics comments bud shots welcome

T 8's and cfl's are a great combo, it's working for me .

It seems im getting alot of pm's of people using combanation lighting cfl t8-t12 and hps... great now im not so worried about buying more!

seems while looking at the t8 lights the bulbs are super super thin like a quata inch compared to the t12 which are half inch round.. I would say the t8 you can fit a massive amount of lights in the same area compared to t12... the bulbs are the same lums and color temp though.. ehh i went for cheaper and the t8 are 19 a piece no bulbs the t12 were 8.00 with bulbs.. but they work great for additional lighting

Im not sure what you mean can they go straight into mains they have a cord and plug into a surge protector... no no and to be honest seems my plant is doing so much better since i added them.. i started with 8 cfl and now im down to three.. and much brighter than it was even with 8 cfl.. yeap the long thingy thats energy efficient puts out 12000 lums per two units

The CFL and flour are doing it good justice especially since i have mostly full spectrum bulbs... my one 40 watter is 2700k so it is helping it along... if I was smart getting bulbs i would have looked for 2700k but I was high and noob... now im alittle wiser it makes a world of difference!
